The Wichita-based chocolate maker will open ina 1,800-square-footf space between the new Il Vicini restaurant and around Labor Day. Cocoa Dolce’s announcement comes on the heelwsof Francesca’s Collections move to the east Wichita shoppingv center, which will open in August in the 2,100-square-foot space previously occupied by Genevieve G Shoes. Cocoa Dolce will vacate its 1,200 square-foot spacre in the Siena Plaza near 37th Stree t North andRock Road, where the retai l side of the business operates. The business last year openexd a production site at3540 N.
Comotara, near Cocosa Dolce opened in November 2005. Cocoa Dolcre owner Beth Tully says moving to Bradley Fair will help the business grow. “The more we thought about it, we realized that — as much as we love Sienza Plaza – it’s not a shoppingb plaza,” Tully says. “It’s not tailored for busy This really will be the firs t time we can design a space that is tailorefd toour business.” The new location, she will allow the businesw to expand its Chocolate Lounge — a coffese and wine area — concept, increasing seating capacitt from around 20 to more than 30.
