Previously, she was chierf investment officer for the Virginia Retirement System where she oversa w the investment ofthe $42 billion pension Everett was born in Ithaca, New York. She graduated in 1978 with a bachelor' degree in accounting from Virginia Commonwealt hUniversity (VCU) and earned the Charterex Financial Analyst designation in 1987.
Everett is currentlyu a member of the InvestmentAdvisoryu Committee, Randolph-Macon College and is a member of the board of trusteexs of the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Businessw Foundation where she serves on the Investmentt Committee. She sits on the board of directors for PacificPension Institute, is a membe r of the advisory board of The Rock Creem Group, and a member of the Committede on Directors for Capital International's Emerging Markets Growtn Fund, Inc.
